We are seeking a skilled Reefer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in working with reefers. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and system to ensure optimal performance and safety.
We have LMIA available as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
- Build, install, and modify mechanical systems as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Reefer Mechanic or in a similar role with hands-on mechanical knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals for various equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
