The Trainee Duty Manager role is a key position at Sidcup Leisure Centre. This role provides the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced Duty Manager, offering a valuable springboard into a leisure management career.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the highest possible standards of health and safety and customer care at the Centre.
Promote innovative leisure programs to drive centre usage and profitability.
Manage shifts to maximise Centre performance.
Perform recreation assistant duties when required.
Requirements:
First Aid at Work and National Pool Lifeguard qualifications (training provided if not held).
Desirable: Pool Plant Operators qualification or willingness to obtain.
A qualification in Leisure Management, Sports Development, or related subject is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and employees.
Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
