Oxa is hiring a Solutions Engineer to join their growing team, responsible for delivering autonomous solutions to customers. This role involves working across all components of their architecture, designing, implementing, and delivering autonomy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work with customers to define requirements and perform technical gap analysis
– Develop safety cases, perform vehicle acceptance testing, and commission hardware/software
– Build and maintain AV maps, and monitor/debug autonomous vehicle systems in the field
– Create and maintain documentation for software architecture and APIs
– Deliver solutions efficiently, addressing technical gaps and risks in collaboration with teams
– Contribute to sprint meetings and ensure timely solution delivery
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s/MASc degree in computer science or robotics
– Experience in developing/delivering robotic systems in a commercial or industrial setting
– Proficiency in deploying, configuring, debugging, and evaluating hardware and software systems
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Experience launching a robotics/autonomous product
– Knowledge of project management tools, robotics (localization, mapping, planning, perception), C++/Python, Linux, networking, and systems integration
