Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join the team in Clacton-on-Sea. This role involves providing day-to-day support to help individuals gain independence and assisting the Manager in supervising and managing the service. You’ll handle various responsibilities such as shift allocation, training, medication ordering, and helping individuals manage their finances.
Key Responsibilities:
Support individuals to gain independence.
Assist the Manager with supervising and managing the service.
Allocate shifts, book training, and supervise new colleagues.
Manage medication orders and support individuals with finances.
Lead the day-to-day care and support for individuals with autism, brain injury, and mental health needs.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Experience working with individuals with autism, mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.
Passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support.
Subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.
