Job News: 

Oxa is enabling the transition to self-driving vehicles and is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop mechanisms and pipelines for real-time production autonomy software performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain high-quality processes and APIs for performance metrics

– Build and own tools and the Planning evaluation framework

– Contribute to the engineering lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance

– Verify and validate through on-road testing and simulation

– Manage CI/CD pipelines to monitor performance regressions

– Define processes and metrics in collaboration with other teams

– Influence technical strategy and assist with training and hiring

Requirements:

– Degree in Robotics or a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics)

– Solid knowledge of Robotics technologies

– Experience in developing pipelines and tools for real-time operations

– Strong analytical skills for statistical analysis and predictive analytics

– Proficiency in modern C++ and fluency in Python

– Ability to develop high-quality APIs and documentation

– Understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices

Extra kudos if you have:

– Experience in verification and validation of Motion Planning systems

– Understanding of decision-making and trajectory generation algorithms

– Exposure to automotive testing and simulation frameworks

– Experience with databases (e.g., SQL)

– Certification in cloud computing (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)

– Experience developing dashboard UIs for performance metrics

– Knowledge of safety certification standards and processes
