Oxa is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their Controls and Vehicle Integration team, contributing to software development for seamless vehicle integration with their autonomy stack. The role will involve using control algorithms to improve fleet performance, collaborating with customers and suppliers to deploy the latest autonomous vehicle technology.
Key Responsibilities:
– Respond to vehicle control challenges and opportunities presented by specific vehicle platforms
– Contribute to control algorithms and maximize performance across the fleet
– Work with customers and suppliers to deploy autonomous vehicle solutions
– Support and guide team members through problem-solving, code reviews, and planning
– Contribute to agile sprint cycles and ensure delivery against project requirements
Requirements:
– Engineering-related degree with experience in software engineering, control systems, or systems integration for robotics, motorsport, or automotive
– Production-level C++ development experience
– Experience with vehicle networks (e.g., CAN) and electromechanical components
– Proven record of leading and delivering projects as part of a team
– Effective technical communication and leadership skills
– Experience using MATLAB/Simulink for automotive software development
– Understanding of vehicle dynamics and control, with real-world application
– Experience with safety-critical systems
– Field or track testing experience
– Knowledge of automotive software development and validation practices
