Job News:
Oxa is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and manage data pipelines for machine learning (ML) models to advance their autonomous vehicle technology. This role will focus on developing datasets, improving data analysis tools, and supporting the deployment of sophisticated ML-driven driving behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and deploy state-of-the-art data pipelines for ML models
– Implement metrics for model validation and continuous monitoring
– Use Oxa Metadriver™ to generate synthetic data and train driving policies
– Build cloud tooling and infrastructure for experimentation and deployment
– Collaborate with team members across the business for effective solutions
– Mentor and onboard new team members, guiding junior engineers
Requirements:
– Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in ML technologies for autonomous vehicles or robotics
– Experience with production ML pipelines (data creation, curation, training frameworks, evaluation)
– Fluency in Python and experience with data analysis libraries
– Proven leadership in team projects and strong technical communication skills
– PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
– Publications or conference talks
– Familiarity with open benchmark datasets for autonomous vehicles (e.g., Waymo, nuScenes)
– Experience in autonomous systems development
– Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
