We are currently hiring a QC Lab Coordinator for a leading Construction Materials Laboratory. This laboratory specializes in testing materials extracted from residential and commercial buildings to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and manage construction samples and materials.
- Log received samples and maintain accurate records.
- Document results with photos and input data into the system.
- Monitor equipment conditions and schedule maintenance as needed.
- Manage warehouse inventory efficiently.
- Work both inside the laboratory and in outdoor environments.
- Learn field sample extraction techniques.
- Conduct tests on concrete, stucco, and steel components.
- Prepare detailed work orders for testing processes.
Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, Teams, Adobe) and familiarity with Zoom.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and handle up to 25 lbs.
