Job News:
Oxa is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join their Vehicle Engineering team, focusing on designing and deploying electrical and electronic systems for autonomous test vehicles. The role includes leading the design and integration of Drive by Wire systems and working with suppliers to create robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and deploy electrical systems for autonomous vehicles
– Lead design and integration of Drive by Wire systems
– Design and debug CAN bus communication systems
– Produce wiring schematics, circuit diagrams, and PCB layouts
– Work with suppliers of electronic components and ensure prototype vehicle robustness
Requirements:
– Degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related discipline
– Experience with vehicle control systems, Drive by Wire systems, or vehicle integration
– Field testing experience of complex systems
– Electrical design project experience
– Sound knowledge of engineering and electrical principles
– Automotive industry experience (electrical systems)
– Experience building robots
– Familiarity with Jira software
– ADAS and GPS systems experience
