Job News: 

Oxa is looking for a Lead Engineer – Build & Support to join their Vehicle Engineering team. The role involves leading technical aspects of vehicle build and support, ensuring seamless system integration and maintaining optimal vehicle performance.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers for the build and maintenance of autonomous vehicles

– Oversee system integration of hardware and software components

– Lead the physical construction of autonomous vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and sensor systems

– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to vehicle systems, CAN bus architecture, and Drive By Wire systems

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

– Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Motorsport, or a related field

– Previous experience in the autonomous vehicle, robotics industry, or motorsport

– Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle hardware and software systems

– Leadership and problem-solving skills

– Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams

– Experience in building and modifying robots

– Proven experience in leading and growing a team

– Knowledge of systems engineering and workshop management
