Job News:
ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Analyst Grade 1 to support their Organics department at ALS Coventry. The role involves the analysis of samples using GC, GCMS, and LCMS methods, ensuring procedures are followed to maintain accreditations.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and meet customer requirements
Complete samples efficiently while following procedures and legislation
Deliver on key performance indicators
Report analytical data
Participate in the Taste and Odour panel on a rotational basis
Assist team members to achieve objectives
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies
Requirements:
5 GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to new Grade 4) or above, including Science, Maths, and English
A-level or equivalent in a scientific subject
Ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn
Client-driven with excellent communication skills
Computer literate and a great collaborator
Ability to organise and manage your work area
Willingness to work on weekends for additional earning potential
