Job Description
Evan Craig, a large multi-disciplinary consultancy, is seeking a talented Senior / Principal Geotechnical Consultant Engineer to join their team in Leeds. The firm, with over 50 years of experience, specializes in infrastructure, energy, environmental, and city solutions, supporting various public, private, and institutional clients. The role involves working on diverse projects, including those related to transport, water, buildings, renewable energy, and rural development.
Key Responsibilities
– Work on various projects, including offshore, transport, water, buildings, renewable energy, and rural development.
– Utilize strong technical skills in the design of foundations and other geotechnical constructions.
– Potentially manage a team in the long term.
– Collaborate with teams globally and across the UK.
Basic Qualifications
– Around 5-10 years of relevant industry experience.
– Chartered Engineer status.
– Ability to work independently and lead a team.
– Strong technical skills in geotechnical construction design.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with piles in Chalk and Glacial Till.
– Offshore design experience, preferably related to wind farms and ports.
– Experience in railway, depot, and station design.
– Knowledge of embankments and cuttings.
– Experience in ground treatment/improvement.

– Work Location : Leeds office with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.
