Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and motivate your team to reach their full potential.
- Manage the performance and daytoday operations of the store and Post Office, including staff rotas, task delegation, and stock management.
- Ensure the overall presentation of the store.
- Monitor and manage processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and Post Office Ltd. requirements.
- Guide and inspire the team to achieve personal and branch targets.
- Oversee the effective daytoday operations of the Post Office within budget.
- Liaise with Post Office Counters and other organisations to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow financial and operational policies to maintain an efficient and safe environment.
- Recruit, appoint, and manage staff, ensuring appropriate training and development.
- Develop and implement annual plans for the Post Office.
- Ensure proper stocking and pricing.
- Promote the Post Office effectively.
- Maintain high levels of customer care and monitor business standards.
- Follow financial procedures and provide timely management information.
- Be responsible for all aspects of money, stock control, promotions, and operations.
Requirements:
- Experience in leading and developing a team.
- Excellent time management, delegation, and problem solving skills.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Willingness to work continuously alongside your team.
- Excellent communication skills and management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Solid understanding of sales management principles and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Minimum HNC/Degree level or equivalent (international qualifications considered)
- 2 years in retail sales, 3 years in management (preferred), 1 year in customer service, 2 years in retail management (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
