Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine janitorial tasks to clean and maintain buildings and facilities.
- Clean surfaces of furniture, floors, walls, and more.
- Move furniture and equipment as needed.
- Empty waste containers and sort materials for disposal.
- Clean glass surfaces and disinfect washrooms.
- Operate hand and power tools; perform maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
- Report items in need of repair and assist in maintaining facility security.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of cleaning tools, materials, equipment, and methods.
- Experience in building cleaning or formal training in janitorial services.
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends.
- Legal right to work in Canada.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Qualification:
- College/CEGEP preferred.
- 2 years to less than 3 years experience.
