Key Responsibilities:
- Advise health professionals on the selection and appropriate use of medicines
- Highlight potential side effects, identify harmful interactions, and assess treatment suitability
- Ensure recommended doses are not exceeded and instructions are understood by patients
- Maintain prescription files and records for narcotics, poisons, and other controlled substances
- Liaise with professionals regarding drug development, manufacturing, and testing
- Participate in clinical pharmacy practice and NHS England national audits
- Ensure drugs and medicaments are properly supplied and stored
Qualifications:
- Have completed a 4 year pharmacy degree
- Master’s (required)
