Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely information to Trust management and clinicians.
- Develop and maintain information reporting systems and query tools.
- Prepare statutory information returns for the Department of Health and NHS Executive.
- Respond to Freedom of Information and ad hoc information requests.
- Ensure all software and information outputs are documented, secured, and quality assured.
- Provide information cover for statutory returns outside regular hours on a rota basis.
- Supervise junior staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Support Senior Information Analysts in assessing the impact of NHS changes and identifying information requirements for Divisions and Clinical Business Units.
Requirements:
- Experience in NHS information management.
- Additional qualifications or training in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with various levels of staff and external partners.
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to produce intelligence from Trust systems data and support stakeholder requirements.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing and maintaining databases and spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of NHS Hospital Based Systems, SQL, and Microsoft Reporting Services.
