JOB NEWS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely information to Trust management and clinicians.
  • Develop and maintain information reporting systems and query tools.
  • Prepare statutory information returns for the Department of Health and NHS Executive.
  • Respond to Freedom of Information and ad hoc information requests.
  • Ensure all software and information outputs are documented, secured, and quality assured.
  • Provide information cover for statutory returns outside regular hours on a rota basis.
  • Supervise junior staff, providing training and support as needed.
  • Support Senior Information Analysts in assessing the impact of NHS changes and identifying information requirements for Divisions and Clinical Business Units.

Requirements:

  • Experience in NHS information management.
  • Additional qualifications or training in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with various levels of staff and external partners.
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to produce intelligence from Trust systems data and support stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing and maintaining databases and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of NHS Hospital Based Systems, SQL, and Microsoft Reporting Services.
