Shift and Schedule: Weekend availability, 10 hour shifts, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of professional chefs.
- Create menus that showcase the finest local ingredients from trusted suppliers.
- Manage culinary operations across several dining settings:
- A vibrant bar and lounge serving specialty coffee and snacks by day, and transforming into a lively cocktail spot by night.
- An elegant yet casual restaurant offering modern British cuisine and a curated wine list.
- In Room dining services catering to guests preferring private dining.
- Ensure the highest standards in taste and presentation of all dishes.
- Oversee kitchen management, including budgeting, inventory control, and supplier relations.
- Uphold and enhance the hotel’s reputation for culinary excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high quality, à la carte dining setting, leading a small team of chefs.
- A hands-on approach to cooking, with frequent involvement in leading the pass.
- Deep knowledge and appreciation of European and British cuisines, and awareness of current food trends.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Creative flair in menu design and presentation.
- Strong organisational and management skills.
