Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients’ health and care needs, and developing care plans
- Administering medication and monitoring responses
- Providing nursing care, including wound and palliative care
- Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
- Supporting daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Providing emotional support to residents and their families
- Maintaining accurate records
- Adhering to Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines
- Contributing to policy and procedure development
- Participating in the training of new staff members
Requirements:
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to continuing professional development
Qualifications:
- NMC registered nurse
- Experience in elderly care, particularly with Alzheimer’s and dementia-related conditions
