One of our clients – a global manufacturing company – is currently looking for a Field Service Technician. This position is Direct Hire and Exempt, at $68K per year.

Key Responsibilities:
On-site duties:
- Technical support via phone or email
- Ordering of parts or machinery for delivery to customer location
Off-site duties:
- Traveling to the customer site
- Installing, testing, modifications of CNC Lathe machinery
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintenance of currently installed machines
- Providing training of machines to customer’s workers
- Traveling with sales representative, providing technical support for potential customers
Requirements:
- HS diploma required; related higher education (certificate, degree, etc.) a plus.
- Willingness to travel at least 75% domestically (mostly IL, OH, WI)
- Mechanical, electrical, and analytical aptitude
- Willingness to learn required terminology, proper handling, and documents associated with CNC Lathe equipment
- Time management, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Interpersonal and customer service/support skills
- Physical capabilities to stand, bend, climb and walk for extended periods as well as lifting equipment
- Intermediate or higher Japanese language ability required
- Valid driver’s license
