Full Job Description:
Are you passionate about empowering individuals with physical and mental health conditions to lead more independent and fulfilling lives? Do you possess the skills to lead a small and supportive team of care workers? Are you equipped with the qualifications and experience to advance your career in care within the UK?
Key Responsibilities:
- We’re currently seeking Senior Community Care Workers (SCCW) to spearhead the provision of practical and emotional support to adults with various physical and mental health conditions, such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Diabetes, in their homes and communities. As an SCCW, you will also oversee, support, and inspire a small team of dedicated care workers. Additionally, your responsibilities may include:
- Establishing relationships and collaborating with external healthcare professionals like GPs, social workers, and community nurses.
- Ensuring adherence to policy and procedure guidelines while upholding our core values.
- Conducting service user reviews and updating care plans and risk assessments.
- Conducting spot checks to ensure compliance.
- Facilitating service users’ access to their community, e.g., shopping and appointments.
- Assisting service users with personal care and household tasks, such as meal preparation and medication administration.
Requirements:
We’re seeking an adaptable, friendly, and patient individual with proven experience and knowledge in management and similar care roles. You must be a qualified health/care professional proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Additionally, you should have:
- Mental health 2 years (Required)
- Registered nursing qualification (Required)
- Valid international driving license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Evidence of having at least £1270 available to support you upon arrival in the UK
- Valid passport
- Clean criminal record certificate
- Ability to fund and secure travel arrangements to the UK
- Ability to fund your own accommodation and possess a car in the UK
