Job News:
Oxa is seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to join their Safety Team to ensure the development of safe, robust, and certifiable products for autonomous vehicles. The role involves implementing safety standards, performing safety analyses, and working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop innovative safety engineering approaches
– Ensure product development follows safety standards like ISO 26262 and ISO/DIS 21448
– Implement verification and validation strategies for system safety
– Conduct safety analyses using FTA, FMEA, STPA, and other methods
– Derive safety requirements and support test case development
Requirements:
– Strong understanding of safety engineering
– Proven experience in functional safety and/or SOTIF
– Experience in safety engineering and autonomous vehicle operations
– Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262, PAS 21448, etc.)
– Experience with real-time embedded systems
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Experience in the full safety engineering lifecycle
– Previous work on vehicle autonomy or advanced ADAS programs (L3)
– Background in Software Engineering or Robotics
