Job News: 

Oxa is seeking an Electrical Installation Designer responsible for designing electrical installations, harness routing, and packaging of electronic components for vehicles, including generating technical documentation and resolving electronic system faults.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design electrical installations for new and modified vehicles

– Contribute to harness and component design

– Generate documentation for harness manufacturing and vehicle assembly

– Support off-vehicle systems and test facilities

– Resolve electronic system faults

Requirements:

– Degree in an engineering subject or similar

– Experience in electrical installation design (ideally Solidworks)

– Proficiency in electrical schematic design packages (e.g., Zuken E3, VeSys Electrical)

– Strong understanding of electrical components and systems integration

– Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working unsupervised

– Strong IT skills, including Google Docs

– Familiarity with automotive connector systems (e.g., Deutsch, Molex, TE Connectivity)

– Skilled in soldering surface mount technology (SMT) components and repairing PCBs

– Understanding of CAN bus architecture
