We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Dutch speaking Business Development Manager to join a leading, international sports marketing and media organisation with a remit to develop their hugely successful sales and marketing partnership program with businesses in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating new business by selling and explaining the benefits of becoming a partner with associated sports clubs
- Following the full sales cycle and process, working closely to company business standards and best practices
- Manage the full sales cycle – research and generate your own leads (using LinkedIn or others sales tools), generating your own sales appointment (online) and closing the sale
- Work at C-level / Director level decision makers
- Arranging video conferencing meetings via Teams and/or Zoom with a view to completing sales with a fast turnaround time (usually 3-4 days)
- Selling the full media portfolio of products to new customers
- Be an expert within the sports industry and community-driven sports partnerships
Requirements:
- Fluent Dutch and English is essential. Fluent in other languages, such as French, Flemish or German is an advantage but not essential
- Previous B2B sales experience, ideally selling at C-level / decision level, with businesses in the Netherlands
- Experience of managing the full A-Z of the sales process , from the development of the sales lead to closing the sale
- Excellent skills in sales introduction and managing the sales process in the full cycle by phone/email/video call or face to face
- Strong communication skills
- A good knowledge and interest in the sports world, particularly football, in Europe is an advantage
- Excellent team attitude and a desire to develop your career
