We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in various construction projects, including building, restoring, and installing structures. This role requires a willingness to learn and develop skills in carpentry while contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and restoring structures according to specifications.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Support the installation of siding, electrical components, and other fixtures as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Help assemble materials and components for construction projects.
- Participate in masonry work as required by specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
- Experience with siding installation, electrical work, or masonry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced carpenters.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
