Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for a Functional Safety Engineer with a business which has been charging forward and won big, long-term projects, so are looking to expand in various departments.
You’ll be an important member of the team and work on the compliance and functional safety elements of the projects, across various market sectors related to green energy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Safety across multiple projects
- Item definition, HARA, FTA, FMEA, etc
- ISO26262 documentation, safety pans, safety cases, etc
- Gap analysis for various systems
- Develop safety validation strategies and safety goal validation testing
- Educate the engineering teams regarding functional safety
- Develop functional safety strategies
Requirements:
- ISO26262 knowledge
- IEC61508 knowledge
- Safety analysis (HARA, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, etc)
- Integrated system testing
- Automotive, industrial machinery or similar experience
