Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily duties assigned by maintenance leadership team.
- Perform various building maintenance tasks including drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, tiling, minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Conduct grounds keeping and snow removal using hand tools and machinery.
- Operate equipment safely, such as snow blowers, front-end loaders, and power tools.
- Manage shipping and receiving duties, including unloading deliveries and handling waste.
- Perform maintenance in guest rooms and respond to related complaints.
- Conduct routine property and system checks, reporting any issues.
- Handle chemicals safely for maintenance purposes (e.g., hot tub, sewage plant).
- Drive the guest shuttle outside of Bell hours if needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop and adhere to safety protocols.
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow the CRMR Employee Handbook and grooming policies.
- Record daily tasks and participate in safety meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance manager.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in basic carpentry, drywall repair, and painting.
- Skills in electrical, plumbing, or tiling are advantageous.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot problems.
- Commitment to safety standards and learning new skills (firefighting equipment, chemical handling, etc.).
- Capability to work in various weather conditions and shift patterns.
- Ability to work independently and handle physical demands such as lifting (up to 80 pounds) and climbing ladders.
