Position: Full-time (Alternating weekly shifts: 06:00-14:00 Monday to Friday, 14:00-22:30 Sunday to Thursday)
Salary:
£22.89 per hour basic rate, increasing to £24.85 per hour
Starting salary: £47,161, increasing to £51,688 after 6 months
Duration: Permanent

Job Description:
As an HGV Technician, you will maintain the company’s fleet of HGVs, ensuring that all work meets manufacturer guidelines and is completed on time. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out breakdowns and reactive works, and ensuring detailed documentation. You’ll also communicate technical information with your team and escalate issues when necessary.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent
Desirable: CPC qualification (training available for HGV Class 1 licence after a successful period of service)
Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
