Job News:
Oxa is looking for a Bus Safety Operator to drive and operate self-driving buses for testing and live passenger services in a safe and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
– Drive and operate a fleet of self-driving buses both manually and autonomously
– Complete field notes, report safety issues, and update Oxa Cloud
– Provide feedback to peers, the Test Engineer, and Software teams
– Engage in company communications and implement actions as necessary
Requirements:
– Several years of driving experience as a professional Bus/PSV/private hire driver with a clean licence (Category D)
– High level of concentration and excellent judgement of live road and traffic situations
– Advanced driving qualifications
– Driver training qualifications
– Experience with prototype test vehicles and closed road testing environments
– Background in vehicle technician tasks (mechanical & electrical)
– Interest in robotics and computing
