  • The team is capable of conducting interviews with GPhC-registered pharmacy technicians and is able to provide two new job opportunities:

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with the GPhC; *
  • dispensing accuracy accreditation. West Midlands initiative or an equivalent program.
  • Proof of Continuous Professional Development.
  • National Framework Accredited Checking Technician or 
  • Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians
  • Pre-qualification work experience in pharmacy for a minimum of two years
  • Presently employed as a Band 4 pharmacy technician or equivalent with post-qualification experience in an acute setting 
  • The capacity to exhibit the requisite level of knowledge and relevant practical experience for the position
  • Significant experience in a pharmacy setting *
  • Experience in organizing other grades of staff and their workload 
  • Significant experience in a hospital pharmacy setting *
  • Understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) *
