Key Responsibilities
- Motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant within Builth Wells Community Nursing service based at Glan Irfon.
- The post holder would be based with and work under the supervision/ guidance of Builth Wells and Rhayader District Nurse team.
- We welcome somebody who is caring, sympathetic and able to learn new skills and provide excellent communication and an attitude that ensures the highest standard of care for our patients.
- The ability to follow policies and procedures as necessary and is NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent in healthcare.
- This will also include some administration duties. It is essential to have good ICT and communication skills for this role.
- The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Requirements:
- NVQ3 in Health or Social Care or equivalent demonstrable experience in a Health or Social Care setting
- Working within a multidisciplinary and multi agency setting
- Can demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to manage stressful situations in self
- Ability to travel/driving license
- Can explain the importance of care monitoring, audit and evaluation of fundamentals of care
- NVQ 3 in health and social care or equivalent
This is a 1 year fixed post to provide cover for a team member on maternity leave.
