Key Responsibilities
- Electronics sales associates assist customers in choosing electronic equipment and devices and process payments, including cash transactions and applying coupons or promotions.
- Electronic sales associates assist customers by answering questions about device pricing, features, promotions, and stock availability. They help customers decide between products and recommend the best options based on individual needs.
- Electronic sales associates monitor and record inventory levels, noting discrepancies or missing stock. They ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and items are correctly priced.
- Electronic sales associates handle returns and exchanges by inspecting items for damage, processing refunds via cash or credit card, entering returns into the POS system, and restocking items.
- Electronic sales associates support sales goals by promoting value-added items like extended warranties and device insurance and providing information on replacement costs and coverage, typically during checkout.
- Electronic sales associates help transport heavy items like TVs and desktop computers to customers’ vehicles and may use a dolly or lift to move stock from the warehouse to the sales floor.
Requirements:
- Level 3 diploma in one of the following areas: Healthcare science, Administration / academic study or Information Technology or able to demonstrate equivalent level or relevant experience
- Good standard of general education to GCSE level (GCSE grade C / 4 or above in English, Maths) or equivalent
- Experience of working in a healthcare / laboratory setting
- Experience of audit
- Competent user of computer software packages including Microsoft Word and Excel
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
- Full UK driving license and ability to work at off site locations as required.
