Senior Fraud & Claims Operations Representative At Wells Fargo
Location: Roanoke, VA 24019 (Hybrid work)
Job Type: Full-time
Shift and Schedule:
– Required In-Person Training: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (6 weeks)
– Regular Schedule: Tuesday – Friday 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM & Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST, or Tuesday – Friday 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM & Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
– Schedule flexibility based on business needs
Responsibilities:
– Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and mitigate risks through effective customer authentication
– Handle complex customer support tasks using both inbound and outbound communication
– Oversee multiple claim types and take appropriate actions using various systems
– Provide feedback and ideas for improving fraud and claims processes and tools
– Offer subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced staff
– Interact with fraud and claims departments and external customers
Required Qualifications:
– 18+ months of Customer Service, Financial Services, Fraud, or Investigations experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Desired Qualifications:
– 6+ months of inbound call experience
– 6+ months of fraud claims or prevention experience
– 6+ months of fraud detection experience
– 6+ months of banking financial operations experience
– Customer service focus with the ability to balance needs of clients, shareholders, and team members
– Working knowledge of bank systems including Prevent, Hogan, CLAIMS, CCM, CIV, ServiceView, Lexus Nexus
– Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action
– Ability to make timely and independent decisions in a fast-paced environment
– Strong research, analytical, and decision-making skills
– Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and applications
– Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
