Key Responsibilities:
- Handle emergency and non-emergency calls, providing professional and compassionate support.
- Attend customer homes to assist those who have fallen, using specialised equipment to lift them safely.
- Liaise with emergency responders, healthcare providers, and other services to coordinate necessary support.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact sensitively with people of all ages and abilities.
- Experience working under pressure and using your initiative with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for accurate information management.
- A current driver’s licence allows you to drive manual vehicles (a vehicle will be provided during working hours).
- Must possess the necessary right to work authorization for Chesterfield Borough Council.
- Enhanced Level Disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service is required.
- Driving License (required)
- Work Authorization in United Kingdom (required)
Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
