Position: Social Worker (Moor to Sea CHSCT)

Pay: £35,745 £41,418 per year
Job Type: Permanent, Part time (24 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries.
- Lead on Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest processes, including applications for community deprivations of liberties.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Care Act.
- Work in a strengths based manner to support individuals in achieving their eligible outcomes and goals.
- Possess strong risk assessment and risk management skills.
- Collaborate with Social Care Assessors, occupational therapists, health professionals, and voluntary sector colleagues in a multi agency approach.
Requirements:
- Ability to drive and access to suitable transport, as the role covers a large rural area from the south of Dartmoor to Dartmouth and Torbay.
- Regular supervision and support, including group supervision for reflection on practice issues, theory, and research.
- Participation in a robust induction program.
- This role requires a DBS disclosure.
- Driving Licence preferred.
