Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a residential staff team for a 6 bed home for young people with complex mental health needs.
- Oversee daytoday management and maintain effective running of the home.
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Team.
- Maintain registration with the CQC and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Lead inspections and ensure safeguarding databases and records are accurately maintained.
- Empower staff to support young people effectively, manage incidents, and provide post incident debriefs.
- Liaise with relevant medical and mental health services regarding the welfare of young people.
- Ensure medication management and completion of Medication Management Plans.
- Recruit suitable and skilled employees.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally as a Deputy Manager looking to advance their career.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Patience and resilience in supporting young people to build relationships, trust, and manage incidents of self harm.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
- Ability to support young people in integrating into the community and engaging in meaningful activities.
