Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes with high standards of taste and presentation
- Utilising grilling techniques to prepare tandoori dishes, kebabs, and other grilled items
- Developing and refining recipes to maintain authenticity
- Ensuring kitchen efficiency, cleanliness, and safety
- Overseeing and training kitchen staff
- Managing inventory and kitchen equipment
- Collaborating with management to update menus
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef specialising in Indian cuisine with strong grilling techniques
- Expertise in using tandoors, grills, and other relevant equipment
- Formal culinary qualification preferred
- Deep understanding of traditional Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques
- Creativity, attention to detail, leadership, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
