Shift and Schedule: 8 hour shifts, 12 hour shifts, Weekend availability

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare all food items to specification, quality, and
- Maintain knowledge of all recipes and cooking procedures.
- Adhere to recipe specifications, including those for customers with allergies and gluten free requirements.
- Ensure food items are produced within the required service time.
- Stay updated on new products and specials.
- Minimise spoilage and wastage through proper storage and portion control.
- Maintain clean sections and refrigerators, adhering to cleaning schedules.
- Keep kitchen sections clean, safe, and hygienic.
- Use dangerous machinery correctly and report any issues immediately.
- Comply with company procedures, food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing legislation.
- Restock using FIFO (First In, First Out) standards.
- Be familiar with Department of Health requirements and work safely at all times.
- Complete due diligence diary entries if requested.
- Ensure sufficient food pars, minimise spoilage, and record all wastage.
- Manage customer orders efficiently using the iiKO system.
- Check deliveries and reject any unacceptable items.
- Follow opening, closing, and handover checklists.
- Deliver on food cost targets.
- Attend relevant training courses and implement learnings.
- Act as a role model for new employees, supporting and communicating effectively.
- Assist in training new trainees.
- Participate in department and restaurant meetings.
- Maintain positive communication with all departments.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely and high standard completion.
- Maintain a positive and proactive approach.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the team.
- Report potential problems to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
- Support colleagues and maintain standards in the restaurant.
- Keep the kitchen clean at all times.
- Adhere to company rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Comply with all reasonable requests or communications from management.
