Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in achieving store KPIs
- Lead and motivate colleagues to uphold company policies and standards
- Manage the store in the absence of Store and Assistant Manager
- Champion the company’s values and ethos on a daily basis
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain high store standards
- Support stocktake preparation and improvement initiatives
- Train and manage colleagues to optimise customer satisfaction
- Handle occasional people management tasks and support community initiatives
- Flexibility to cover various store areas when required
Qualification:
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail sales or similar role
- GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Requirement:
- Experience in stock control, cost management, and rota planning
- Knowledge of fresh food retail operations
