We are currently seeking a Senior Trainee Manager to join our Skerries Store management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Trainee Manager, you will work closely with the store’s management team to ensure the smooth operation of our busy store. This is a full time position, requiring weekend and holiday availability.
- Work as part of the store’s management team
- Assist in the daytoday running of the store
- Manage a team of up to 40 staff when on duty
- Stock ordering and control
- HACCP duties
- Keyholder responsibilities
- Product displays
- Ensure the store is ready for business daily to the required standards
- Provide high quality customer service
- Staff training
- Security awareness
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a trainee manager in a busy supermarket
- Previous experience in SuperValu/Centra store preferred
- HACCP trained
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong knowledge of the retail grocery industry
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- People management experience
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Early morning and late evening availability required
