Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various construction, repair, installation, and maintenance tasks to support Drax’s pellet production systems.
- Operate a range of equipment and tools related to maintenance and rail activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Perform cleaning tasks as per schedules or assigned by the Plant Manager.
- Assist in the safe and efficient loading of rail cars and shipping of pelletized pellets.
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality control initiatives.
- Operate mobile equipment as required.
- Report safety incidents and infractions.
- Assist maintenance staff or complete basic maintenance tasks as directed.
Requirements:
- Experience in heavy industry and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
