Pay Package:
- Base pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour.
- Full-time employment with no less than 30 hours per week.

M & M Environmental is currently seeking an experienced XRF Environmental Inspector to join our team. This role offers visa sponsorship and immediate availability for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- As an XRF Environmental Inspector, your duties will include: Conducting lead field inspections at various business and residential properties, including NYCHA locations.
- Recording detailed information on tested surfaces, including component type, substrate, paint condition, and other relevant details.
- Maintaining respectful and discreet communication with clients.
- Drawing, reading, and editing floor plans as needed.
- Ensuring quality control by thoroughly checking and verifying all recorded information.
- Transporting XRF equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Efficiently completing up to 8 inspections per day.
- Working Monday to Friday during day shifts with a lunch break, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- EPA Certification as a Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor
- Analytical, mathematical, and basic writing skills
- Strong communication and listening abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt to industry regulations
- 2-5 years of experience in XRF field inspections
- Prior experience with NYCHA inspections is advantageous
- Driver’s licence is not required but considered a plus
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory
Experience and Certification:
- 2 years of XRF experience preferred.
- Driver’s licence preferred but not required.
- EPA Certification (Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor) is mandatory.
